Social and economic benefits of the project The expansion of the hospital includes the commissioning of a state-of-the-art Preventative and Occupational Health screening wing, with a capacity of 30,000 visits per year. This wing is equipped with over 100 advanced screening machines.

Additionally, the expansion features a modern gastroenterology and endoscopy center, a cardiology wing, a rehabilitation center, a 54-bed inpatient unit, and a brand-new office for employees.

“MCS Internship” paid internship program
Project objectives To provide students with the opportunity to systematically build their careers, gain real-world work experience, and foster personal development while immersing in corporate culture.

Project impact The internship program aims to prepare students for their professional careers by offering opportunities to develop practical skills in real-world settings while experiencing corporate culture firsthand.

Students also have the chance to attend personal development courses at MCS Academy and participate in mentorship meetings, expanding their professional network.

Since the launch of the program in 2022, 230 students from domestic and overseas universities have participated in the program and received job offers from MCS Group, kickstarting their professional careers.

Project specifications The company has implemented a project to establish a state-of-the-art complex, which includes a cattle feedlot with a concurrent capacity of 5,000 cattle, an abattoir capable of slaughtering up to 76 cattle per day, a feed mill, and smart arable farming practices across a 10,250-hectare area.
Social and economic benefits of the project The company procures pasture-grown young cattle from herders, providing the local community with stable, year-round income. The employee homestead, located in the Chandgana Steppe, offers comfortable and safe accommodation and is considered a model for project development in rural areas.
“Borkh” Solar power plant, “Tsengeg” Battery storage power station
Project objectives Providing reliable electricity to remote aimag, independent from the central grid

Project specifications: 5MW Solar power plant and the 3.6MW battery storage system will annually produce 8.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity to the central grid of Mongolia.
Social and economic benefits of the project The consortium of JGC Holdings Corporation, NGK Insulators and MCS International LLC have successfully completed the first ever battery storage station in Mongolia. The battery storage power station backs up when there is a shortage of power or during peak load and recharges itself when it is not needed, reducing imported electricity usage.

Results 3 story, 98 parking structure was completed to allow multiple vehicles to a space efficient parking. The facility doubled the count of parking lots, and is setting an example for other service companies in the city centre.
Rest area 240

Results Equipped with a washroom and public shower, a convenience store, and a café, the Rest area 240 provides a cozy place to rest for travelers. The facility is powered using innovative and environment friendly solar, gas, and electric energy and provides ten locals with stable employment. The facility is also equipped with a traveler’s corner, promoting tourism in the historic area.

Results MCS Coca-Cola LLC became the first food manufacturing plant in Mongolia to introduce emission free, innovative engineering solution. By eliminating the use of raw coal, MCS Coca-Cola LLC now proceeds to the next phase of its comprehensive sustainability goals.
Forest belt in the Gobi desert
Project objective Creating forest belt in the Gobi region to reduce desertification

Results Forest belt created in Tsogttsetsii soum is expanding every year, now covering area of about 20 hectares, and planted over 10 thousand trees, bushes and shrubbery with survival rate of over 82 percent. Opportunity for vegetable gardening activities is available for local communities and organizations. In 2021, over 70 local resident and 2 organizations have combined harvest yield of 95 tons over 20 types of vegetation.

“Uv Erdene” Cultural Heritage Grants program
Project Purpose The preservation of historical and cultural monuments that symbolize Mongolia’s national heritage and values.

Results The program has supported 15 projects, including the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, Bogd Khan Palace Museum, and Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum, in partnership with the Arts Council of Mongolia. These efforts were further supported by the Ministry of Culture, the National Centre for Cultural Heritage, as well as domestic and international monument restoration specialists and advisors.

Renovation of Bayankhongor Province’s General Hospital Emergency Department

Project Results

 

The renovation of Bayankhongor Province’s General Hospital Emergency Department has improved access to medical services for Bayankhongor province’s 80,000 residents and Bayankhongor soum’s 30,000 residents. In addition to the renovation work, the department’s patient flow was improved and issues around ventilation and humidity were resolved.

“Tsetsii” wind power plant
Project objective Tsetsii is the second largest wind power plant built in Mongolia and has brought Mongolia a step closer to being a major collaborator in Japan’s Asian Super Network to provide renewable energy to Asian countries.

Project’s social and economic benefits The construction of a wind farm will save 120,000 tons of coal and 1.6 million tons of water a year, and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere by 180,000 tons each year.

 

“Sainshand” wind power plant
Project objective Expand Mongolia’s energy production infrastructure through sustainable renewable energy sources.

Project’s social and economic benefits MCS International LLC has completed the construction of administration buildings and installed overhead power lines. As a result of this project, more than 100,000 households will be provided with electricity every year. This project has saved 222,200 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and the consumption of 1.97 million cubic meters of clean water and 78,416 tons of coal.

 

“Gegeen” solar power plant
